Senior Support Engineer will play a key role along with the existing Technical Leads/ ATLs by guiding and mentoring the junior support staff members while communicating and adhering to new procedures, policies and goals. Moreover the role holder is responsible to provide a quality operational and technical application and systems support to the customers and internal business partners. In addition to the above, monitoring queues, assisting with defined goals, conducting quality control to reduce errors, and preventing reoccurrence of Incidents to improve procedures while closely working with cross-functional teams are a critical to be successful in this role.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science or in a related field
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a hands-on application/system support role
  • Experience with supporting multi-tier infrastructures
  • Exposure to Linux based development environments
  • AWS certifications and Experience in Cloud Technologies with minimum 2 years.(IAM/Code-deploy/Route-53/RDS/ELB/Cloud front/ELK stack..etc)
  • Experience in Oracle/MySQL/MongoDB environments.
  • Experience in Software deployment process/techniques
  • Experience in providing services to agreed SLA’s
  • Extensive problem solving and debugging skills
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experienced in Problem and Incident Management
  • Flexible in working outside of core business hours at short-notice
